Finance Committee Annual Meeting

January 14^th, 2025

The Board of Finance of the Switzerland County Public Library met January 14^th, 2025 at 3:25 pm for the Annual Meeting. Members in attendance were Don Tolliver, Mary Jane Rogers, Diane Sigmon, Michelle Hicks, Norman Miller, Diana Barry, and Sharon Deck. Director Emily Fox and Treasurer Heather Peelman were present. Election of officers was discussed. Consensus was to keep the current slate of officers. Hicks will serve as president, Deck will be Vice President, Rogers will be Secretary, and Peelman will be Treasurer. Investments were discussed. First Financial Bank is the designated depository for funds. Barry asked if there was a reason that bank was chosen and Fox said she wasn’t sure but thought they had more options for business accounts. The Investment Policy and Credit Card Policy were reviewed. No changes were made. The Madison Courier will be the vehicle for publication of public notices.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:35 pm.
