Finance Committee Annual Meeting

February 10^th, 2026

The Board of Finance of the Switzerland County Public Library met February 10^th, 2026 at 3:25 pm for the Annual Meeting. Members in attendance were Don Tolliver, Mary Jane Rogers, Diane Sigmon, Norman Miller, and Sharon Deck. Director Emily Lipczynski and Treasurer Heather Peelman were present. Election of officers was discussed. Consensus was to keep the current slate of officers, but will confirm that works for Hicks before finalizing. Hicks will serve as president, Deck will be Vice President, Rogers will be Secretary, and Peelman will be Treasurer. Investments were discussed. First Financial Bank is the designated depository for funds. Lipczynski had forwarded information about joining TrustINdiana and asked if anyone was open to it. Tolliver asked how much the library has in First Financial and pointed out that we may be over the FDIC insurance threshold. Lipczynski will look into opening a TrustINdiana account and see how much would be feasible to transfer. The Investment Policy and Credit Card Policy were reviewed. No changes were made. The Madison Courier will be the vehicle for publication of public notices.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:32 pm.
