Our Heroes' Tree
The Military Family Research Institute at Purdue University and the Switzerland County Public Library invite you to contribute to Our Heroes’ Tree, a national program recognizing the sacrifices of current service members, veterans, and deceased service members.
To participate:
Create a handmade ornament honoring a military member from your family or community. Bring the ornament with a brief story describing your hero to the Switzerland County Public Library during the month of October where it will be displayed on a tree with other commemorative ornaments. Your ornament may also be included in the Virtual Heroes’ Tree, an online collection of ornaments from other communities.
